Really Fat Cats

A very large and fat cat make strange and loud noises each and every night outside my house. I see him walking on the grass, sitting on the mailboxes of people or getting behind car tires.

i don’t like him at all and consider him nuisance. i caught him red handed trying to go behind my car tire.

I have a 9-year old tabby who is quite obese – 24.8 pounds. I’m about to start him on a strict diet of very low-fat canned food and the vet advised that I try to get him to eat veggies as well. Does anyone here have experience with putting a cat on a diet like this, and what veggies their cat actually ate? I’m going to try broccoli, green beans and spinach but I doubt he will like it. Any input would be appreciated.

My cat, Dewey, weighs about 19lbs now. He used to weight 23.5lbs. He is on a serious diet. He is very short with short legs and a short body but is very sturdy.

I’m just curious how he stacks up against other “fat cats.”
I wanted to add I have two more cats that aren’t even close to chubby. One is about 8lbs and the other is about 10lbs. Dewey on the other hand is…uh…obese. By the way, if you’re wondering (and you’re probably not) he’s named after the Malcolm in the Middle character.
More details…Dewey is an orange and white cat. Nothing special. His siblings were all tabby cats–he was the only one with any orange. I wonder if he was the product of a litter with two fathers as his dad was a big orange barn cat.

Uh. Yeah. And he is only 4.5 years old.

I think fat cats are just the kitten’s whiskers! It would be nice if she was overweight because she won’t go very far from home. And nothing is cuter than a beast cat with a scrunched up face.
