He is a 7 year old, indoor cat. He was fixed when he was very young, and has never been outdoors. His diet consists of cat food and dairy products, and occasionally some chicken… Always has. He has always been a large cat, but proportional. I’m now noticing that his head and neck look fat, really fat. His face looks flattened and his ears seem smaller due to the size of his fat cheeks and neck. It is not just his fur, because I squeeze back on his face and whatever it is, is solid mass. I don’t think it’s a tumor (bc it’s on both sides). I’m afraid he has cancer or something. Btw- he has not lost any weight… He is super fat all over!! If you’ve ever had a cat that has suddenly “ballooned up”, please tell me what the outcome was.

he is a out side cat exept for when he is hungery. he only wants to comes in to eat. when we put him out side he wanted to stay out side so we let him but after the first month or so he started to lose a lot of weight but he isnt just fur and bones. I recently noticed that my enormously fat cat of about 8 years old has shed a lot of weight. He is an outdoor cat so I haven’t been doing anything to bring his weight down. I haven’t noticed that he’s been eating any less or behaving oddly (granted, I’m not often in the garage, but still) I can’t really afford to take him to a vet, so I’d like to know if anybody here knows anything first.

SHE LOVES THEM! she’s almost 3 years old she’s an outdoor-indoor cat so she gets “exercise”, however she is a bit chubby. She’s not really fat just a bit chubby.

My orange tabby male cat weighs 18lbs its horrible we have four cats so its hard to monitor food and we took him to the vet and she said nothing so we asked her she just kinda passed by the subject he is getting WAY to fat i have been trying to excersie him by playing but he wont chase or do anything he wont even clean his but what can i do i love him so much please help

We feed her once a day, but I think my dad feeds her too. But still, feeding a cat twice a day and shes fat? What can I do or what brands are good for fat cats?
