Cat food. low fat but my cat’s not fat?

My cat loves to eat since she was a little kitten she gets so excited and just loves to eat and is very healthy and active. She’s a perfect weight but would feeding her low fat be okay?? I figure she can keep enjoying her food and I don’t have to worry about her getting to an unhealthy weight and then having to restrict her food… is this a good idea??
She’s a small breed – a Singapura mix – she weighs about 7 pounds but eats like a Maine Coon
I tried giving her a can, she loves it!

continue giving her food if she becomes ill or old the food will help

No, feed her regular food. Cats are not like people, in the wild they are carnivores, so I would think their fat allowance for the day is higher than ours.

Just feed her as you would a regular cat if she doesn’t have any weight issues. “Low fat” is a people catchphrase, cats don’t require low fat diets.

don’t let her get big it’s not good for her,the vet told me to keep my cat on dry food do not give them can food.treat them with tender vittles,or cat treats.

I don’t recommend feeding a low-fat food. Cats are carnivores who need a high protein, high fat diet. If they eat the right type of food they won’t develop a weight problem.
