Their private planes on trips etc. Why did it have to come to this. Did this people have NO ETHICS whatsoever? The President of the United States had to come in , and in many cases is much younger than these CEO”s and literally slap them on the hand. Should they be ashamed? Will they be ashamed?
When will he too be bought out, or do you believe that he actually has the tenacity to stand up to these people and say “no more”!

I am just curious. I was in upper level management and quite astonished at how callous they were not only toward their equals, but especially those who were subordinates, treating them as thought they were a liability rather than an asset.

Sorry, unlike me, do you think he will stay on track?
Please let me clarify. I do not “hate” anyone. I admire people willing to take a risk (financially) start a business and try to make it successful. Yes I think that they should be rewarded for their hard work due to their efforts.
What I am referring to however, are those corporations, who although the risk was taken, now take advantage of, in a completely unethical manner their “resources, being human in nature”. They lay them off, cut their benefits, while going on cruises and giving their peers major bonus’. And you all know those of whom I refer. Those who said, like a good neighbor they would be there, took your premium payment in “good faith”, invested it, made a fortune, a catastrophe like Katrina hits, and they say it was “flood” damage, while whistleblowers tell everyone they falsified the documentation. Darn it, no spell check, sorry all. Terribly late and damage to my rt frontal lobe. If spelling is incorrect I am sorry, disabled.
Thank you for your time.

Should we REVOLTREVOLTREVOLT against the D.C. Pols and the Wall Street Fat Cats?

Read your history books. Similar events happened in the 1920’s that led to the Oct. 1929 crash. Why should we let history repeat itself with these huge stimulus and bail out packages that are only going to deepen and lengthen this economic crisis? The economy would recover almost overnight if these packages had been divided up among the working class. This is just another rip off of the American taxpayer. So my question is, is it time to REVOLT<>REVOLT<>REVOLT.
zendog and tribeca belle have no Idea what they are talking about. My father worked on the CCC in The 30’s and todays GREED is no different from the GREED of the 20’s. Dad didn’t retire with the CCC and barely made a living wage with them. What a load of BS.

The gotta pay! I am not gonna pay for this. I will not just roll over and forget. Damn their lying eyes. Trust none of them and place no confidence in the criminals who did this.

Fat Cat Bankers? A Classic Piece Of Misdirection

Posted by: admin  :  Category: Politics
kieron mcfadden asked:

If there’s one thing the press never does is convey understanding. Lots of bad news, yes. Confusion, yes. Bah blah and yakety yak that never quite seems to make sense, of course. But understanding? No chance. Helping the riffraff actually understand what its government and the hidden committees who hand government its orders are doing is definitely NOT part of the role of the modern press.

People must be PREVENTED from getting a clear look at our current monetary crisis lest, God forbid, they penetrate the whopping great hoax the banking sector and their tame government have cooked up between them. The people, let’s face it, would be more than a little miffed. Things could get ugly.

It would not do to have the hoi polloi wise and well-informed.

So we see an awful lot of waffle, half truths, gobbledygook and nonsense in the press that carefully doesn’t explain what is really happening, avoids a few minor, trifling details such as HOW the recession was DELIBERATELY created, WHY it was CREATED and HOW it could be oh so easily ended should our politicians discover somewhere about their persons something known as a back bone.

And we see too a handful of greedy, middle-ranking spivs and shysters paraded before the media as the men responsible for bringing down global civilization. We get a kind of show-trail: parliament gets to look grave and statesmanlike (as opposed to actually DOING something effective to end the misery) the press gets to froth at the mouth and get all morally indignant (as opposed actually doing some real journalism and expose the actual scandal hidden under all this confusion) and we can all enjoy a Five Minute Hate….. and have our attention neatly distracted.

In the conjuring business they call it, I believe, misdirection. Control the public’s attention and direct it to where you want it to go, which is AWAY from what you are ACTUALLY doing.

Somebody threw a handful of sacrificial lambs to the wolves, a little coterie of greedy men who were guilty, yes, of riding the gravy train, but they neither built it nor drove it. The gravy train is still on its rails and chugging away nicely. It will be long after our sacrificial lambs have finished half-heartedly apologizing for having done something or other with some bank accounts, A few low-in-the-pecking-order lackeys will be forced to endure some embarrassment, told not to be naughty again and then be forgotten as some new calamity  is shoved under the public’s nose.

Misdirection. This is not about a handful of fat cats. This is about tigers. But we are so busy throwing our shoes at the cats, we miss the tiger skulking in the undergrowth.

The press is a handy tool in the arsenal of weapons arrayed against the general population.

It is doing its job well.

Thanks boys and girls! Your dedication to the cause of human freedom is duly noted.

Will the newly signed Free Trade Agreement between Peru and the US be beneficial for Peru, or mostly the US?

Will the newly signed Free Trade Agreement between Peru and the US be beneficial for Peru, or mostly the US?
OR IS IT MOSTLY BENEFICIAL FOR THE USA AND PERUVIAN FAT CATS?

*(Fat Cats are: extremely wealthy corporations, moguls, monopolies and conglomerates, not just Peruvian, but other international companies such as the many from Chile which have INVADED Peru with their Transnational Corporations in the last several years).
