So i have two cats, one is the laziest thing you will ever come across- he is also a little on the chubby side. but cute chubby not, omg what are you feeding your cat fat, chubby. the other is very very lean, but almost too skinny.. i want her to gain some weight, there is food available at all times but she doesn’t seem to be eating enough to gain weight, but the other has no problem gaining it. What should i do to make her gain weight and him not? i cant keep them separated cuz the hate to be alone from each other.

I had this problem with my cats. Dexter is still fat and Deb is still thinner, and they eat exactly the same. It might just be the way they are, and mine are siblings. I found it somewhat helpful to give the skinnier one some wet food while she/he is alone to help pack on an extra pound or two. Play with fatty until skinny is done eating, they won’t notice being apart.

I would take them to the vet and see what is wrong with the skinny one and have them prescribe a diet for the fat one

we had that too. we gave them Purina ONE Healthy Weight Management Formula. it helps overweight cats lose weight, while helping skinny cats to gain muscle mass. try that. hope it helps!

Ok I had this problem so the chubby cat is problemly eating the skinny cat’s food and if the skinny cat doesn’t eat the food ur giving him or her then try getting a new one
