Really Fat Cats

Overweight cats indicates that they are unhealthy and over eating…. There is nothing adorable about that.

Just like fat people, fat cats are prone to diabetes. I have a friend that has to give his insulin shots twice a day.

It doesn’t matter how fat or skinny cats r they can still b as loveabe as possible.

Only to stupid people who don’t think.

You get people on here all the time going ‘awww that’s so cool your cat fat cat is so cuuuute’ – disgusts me it does.

Cats are supposed to be able to run and jump and play. They’re suppose to be athletic and energetic. Quite apart from the very real health risks of being overweight, it breaks my heart everytime to see cats who are unable to do these things because their owners have mistreated them – and I don’t care how much people love their animals, if they’ve let them become fat they’ve mistreated them, and ignorance ain’t an excuse.

Garfield is a comic strip character and yes, he is adorable. Real life overweight fat cats are not. They are in danger of a host of medical problems. People should realize that you cannot have your cake and eat it too. Only Garfield has that power.
