Ok my cat has a really bad digestive, its been that way since he was a kitten. We rarely ever feed his wet food because it gives him the runs its like a blue moon we give it to him. He only eats dry food like his sister. Now my cat weights like 20 pounds maybe more hes a big cat but his sister isnt that big. Should i start feeding him wet food with his dry food or keep him on dry food or just do wet food? I just want him to be healthy!

I dont like cats very much but if i ever did get one i would probably get a fat cat they look cooler and sorda remind me of garfield. So would it be a bad thing to have a cat be really round like a beach ball? Would it just be like an overweight person where they just cant run as long as other non overweight people? Also can cats get diabetes?

I have two cats but have not had the other one tested. I normally feed them half a cup of food (total) in the morning and half a cup when I get home. I also feed them half a can each of wet food which I’ve dropped to a quarter can each (the very small cans). I used to allow them to free feed but stopped about 6 months ago. They are 15 and 17lbs. The 17lb one is the one in question. Honestly, he doesn’t look really fat, he’s a very long cat. Ok, nothing else I can think of.
