The pork bone is huge so he shound not choke on it. Cat is very obese, he only eats cat food and I never give him table scraps. I think he deserves a treat because he is so fat, what do you think?

Cats kill and eat wild birds and small animals all the time, and they usually eat EVERYTHING, bones included! So I don’t think it will hurt your kitty. It will be good exercize for his jaws too.

You are not suppose to give your cat bones of any kind and especially if it is obese. Cut back on the amount of food you put out. My cat was over-weight and I just started putting half the amount of food out and she has lost some weight. I also try to exercise her by playing with a laser light she will quit whenshe gets tired.

pork bones are not good for your cat, beacuse the pork bone can rip the in side the cats throght, so try feed you cat cat treets instead.

A pork bone will probably not hurt him, but since he is very obese, you should really put him on a diet. Light food. When animals are obese, they can get diabetes and kidney failure and I don’t think that you want to give your cat daily insulin shots, do you?
Give him special diet foods.

Cats shouldn’t have cooked/old bones or raw pork, so no. Cats also shouldn’t be “very obese.” Start feeding your cat responsibly. Buy good quality food that is low in carbs and don’t overfeed him. Your cat is going to develop health problems if you don’t get his weight under control.

No – no cooked bones whatsoever. They will splinter.
If you want to give him a treat – which isn’t a great idea since he’s fat – then give him a raw bone such as a chicken neck. It’s good for the teeth and won’t be adding empty calories to his diet.

cat training tip
pork bones can give off tiny splinters that can stick in the intestines. Don’t do it, get some treats at a store.

how to train a cat
A huge pork bone won’t splinter, just don’t feed him raw pork because he could get worms..but that may be a good way for him to slim down. (Just kidding) Is this cat old? If he is…let the fatass eat what he likes
