Is it wrong to like fat cats?

I love fat cats. I want to adopt and own one someday. However, I would NOT get a cat, then overfeed it until it’s overweight. I think that’s student. I DO however, want to own and save the lives of fat cats.

It’s never wrong to want to love and take care of a homeless animal. It isn’t weird either, you are a good person.

No. I love fat cats too. Idk y, but i do. I’d rather them be a little cunky than too skinny. Atleast you know they’re fed good.

No, I have a really fat cat. We try to get her to lose weight but it is pretty much impossible because she is just lazy. I think it is great that you would like to take the time to save some cats from heart attacks and and early death. If you figure out how to get your cats to lose the weight could you please tell me. OH and i love fat cats too, i think they are funny.

Not at all! I have a 22lb orange tabby (appropriately named Morris) that I adopted after he wandered into my yard 4 years ago and he was never claimed. His nickname is actually “fat cat”. He is one of the loves of my life! He is happy, healthy, energetic, sweet boy that I wouldn’t trade for anything. (I should mention that he is a BIG boy though…he measures 43″ long, tip to tip, and is 15″ tall when standing). Good luck with your adoption…fat cats everywhere will appreciate you!

I love big fat cats, Too but it’s unhealthy for them to be too big. Just like humans, they can suffer from all sorts of problems related to obesity. They can live much longer lives at a normal weight.

Its not wrong to like fat cats, they can be pretty cute. Just be prepared to treat them for the complications that can follow, most likely type 2 diabetes. Happens a lot, and they end up needing a diet change, and insulin shots….just be prepared, but i think its a nice thought to want to rescue those that need homes.

I think its great that you want to make the lives of fat cats better. You start by volunteering at the RSPCA and putting cats on a diet so there wait goes down. Its all about what you care for!
