Really Fat Cats

Well.. I have a 1 year old-4 and a half months cat and he’s quite obese but… I really need him to loose that weight. What should I do? Well.. first of all.. I wanted to get 2 cats at the shelter and they looked the same so I wanted to get a bigger cat and a small cat to tell them apart. Shadow(The big cat) is really lazy now and I’m trying to play with him to loose weight but he doesn’t seem to want to fight that much.. Someone please help me!!
Should I put a cat harness on it?
i have 2 cats. Shadow is the fat cat and We had only 1 litter box at the time
well..he started peeing on the couches
and I bought a new litter box MUCH bigger and he does everything in there..
My brother noted to me.. he pooped on the floor today and it was like.. diarrhea and I had to clean that up…All he is doing is……..laying down all day not moving. I even try to call him to go eat food.

my lil riley is a big fat fuzzy tabby cat and hes not even a year old.. i personaly feel that he has a eating disorder because all though i feed him twice a day he seems to fine ways to eat anyth in sight (example:a peace of brocoli, a peace of tomato and a riped open packedge of cat treats he devoured and then barfed up) im wondering if theres something i can do lol… maybe theres a suport group for kittens i can inrole him in..the lil tubber..
