I love fat cats. I want to adopt and own one someday. However, I would NOT get a cat, then overfeed it until it’s overweight. I think that’s student. I DO however, want to own and save the lives of fat cats.

Ok so i have two cats and one is a little overweight despite my attempts to put him on a diet. at any rate, I give them wet food for breakfast and dinner and dry food is left out all the time to acount for lunch etc. I worry the dominant fatter cat eats enought of the food that the other cat doesnt get enough. the other cat is normal weight and does not look like he lacks enough food or anything. I would know if one cat were not gettin enough food right?

I give him 3/4 a cup in the morning and 3/4 in the evening. Everytime I go into the kitchen he runs and leaps on the counter and just whines and crys for food. it just breaks my heart to know hes that hungry. On the other hand…Im afraid hes not healthy cause hes to big and I dont want it to shorten his life. What do I do?
