Except for Thompson, who made a passing remark -something to the effect that everything is fine and americans are great, blah blah blah, more like psychosis..everyone agrees all is well, the economy is great. more of the kool aid pleeze. Whats great? Is that the fat cat republicans who voting bush into office are losing their houses. WAKE UP!!!

You dont listen very well do you. McCain clearly stated that the party has lost its direction and that things were out of hand as a result of that.

Translation, the economy sucks because Bush and his puppet master spent $6 trillion dollars on a war that should never have been started.

You obviously did not watch very much of the coverage. I watched both conventions. I did hear about the economy. It may have slowed but is certainly not “failing”. But then I am one of those rich Republicans. My wife and I make almost $55,000 per year and have three kids in college.
I don’t think we can survive the beneficence of Obama.

Because, personally, “his”/”their” economy hasn’t faltered and/or failed, only “us”, the “common folk”, feel the ramifications of “their” actions, “they” never do. God Bless.

Why was there no mention of illegal immigration at the DNC?

He did mention but did not elaborate. Basically he said yes I know the economy is not that great but I can change it…and left the topic at just that. In actuality, looking back at his speech I really don’t see where he was going with it all?
